Was that really all, folks?

Today marks the third anniversary of the final Looney Tunes broadcast on Cartoon Network (October 3, 2004). That final broadcast included a mere three cartoons, showings of "Speedy Ghost to Town", "Dr. Jerkyl's Hyde", and "Bewitched Bunny".

Let's mark the anniversary with the opening to what turned out to be the Looney Tunes' last hurrah on television, Cartoon Network's Looney Tunes Show:

Looney Tunes really took over Saturday mornings with that show. About the average time a American wakes up till noon or early afternoon. When I first saw that on the TV guide, I thought "WHOA! Is this actually happeneing? Three or four hours of non-stop Looney Tunes?!" Aww, CN's good ol' days.

The best thing about this opening, was instead of having Billy West record Bugs' only line, "I'm so unimportant", they re-hired Greg Burson to voice the line, who hadn't voiced Bugs since From Hare to Eternity (1997).
