Dodgers Dolls

Matthew reported about a line of new Looney Tunes claw machine plush dolls from a company called Sugar Loaf a few months ago. Recently, I had noticed Duck Dodgers dolls (based on the 2003 TV series) popping up in a couple of the claw machines around here and didn't think anything of it. I figured I was just looking at some leftover merchandise from a few years back. Nope. Those crazy guys at Sugar Loaf have just released a new-for-2010 line of Duck Dodgers plush... now available inside claw machines near you (or, if you don't want to spend all those quarters, there's always eBay).

As you can see, Sugar Loaf went as far as doing dolls of The Martian Queen and even Dr. IQ Hi!!? Not pictured: K-9 and an Instant Martian who are also part of this set.

I saw those in my local grocery store and took a picture with my phone because I was in such disbelief. Wish I didn't suck at those claw games :/

I know that this is off topic, but I am trying to get this out to as many people as possible. A friend of mine, Roger Riddle, has a blog site that hosts bracket contests of all kinds. This week is cartoons. LT is a finalist, as it should be, but some Gargoyles fans have gathered support through message boards. It has already beat some competitors that should have been able to stand their ground, and because of their tactics they continue to win with a large majority. Currently they are beating LT 78 to 22. I think this is a crying shame, and I am imploring everyone to log on to http://coffeecakeextravaganza.blogspot.com to vote for LT and shut them down. If you get this in time, your support would be appreciated. There are just under 3 hours left to vote.

Thank you,

Benjamin

Where are you located? I have not seen any of these dolls in arcade machines in my area (Ohio). My daughter really really wants the Martian Queen. Appreciate any help.

Thanks,
